When the Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S came out folks guessed that the underpowered rear wheel drive cars would be prime for tuners. Looks like the folks at Crawford Performance agree. This Crawford Performance tuned Subaru BRZ comes with a large turbocharger and intercooler. Horsepower is loosely quoted as "between 400-500 hp" with 550 lb-ft of torque.
This turbocharged Subaru BRZ has a 0-60 mph time of 4.4 seconds and hits the quarter mile in 12.8 seconds at 116.8 mph. On the figure 8 track the Crawford BRZ does 23.5 second lap times consistent with the Ferrari 458 Italia and the Dodge SRT Viper. Video of the turbo BRZ after the break.
