Binatone, a UK electronics company, has just re created a brick style phone aptly named “The Brick”. The Brick has a whopping 3 month standby time, 28 hours of talk time, and get this… a built-in flashlight. Funny stuff.
The phone looks to be a copy of the 1992 Motorola International 3200 brick phone. The phone specs are also dated. Start off with 2G GSM/GPRS and a 1.8-inch TFT display. There is also some newer technology mixed in like Bluetooth (allows you to use The Brick phone as a handset for an iPhone or Android phone), Micro-USB port, a Micro SD card slot, and a flashlight.
Expect to see the Binatone Brick in the UK next month for about $78 to $126 depending on battery options.
