It looks like Amazon doesn’t think the internet is big enough for them and they are opening an actual storefront in New York. The Amazon brick and mortar store will be in the heart of New York on 34th Street between the Macy’s store and the Empire State Building. This physical Amazon store should be open in time for the holidays. The NY Amazon store will also take returns even if the products were purchase online. Interesting move, we will have to wait and see if this is a good or bad idea on Amazon’s part.
Bad move as they now have a physical store I assume that means NY state residents will now have to pay sales tax for online purchases ?
