Kodak has struggled to keep up with the ever-changing times and tech. Remember when they were a leader in the instant camera space? It has been a while. Kodak hasn’t thrown the towel in just yet. Their latest product is the Kodak IM5 Smartphone which claims to focus on the camera.
The IM5 Camera Smartphone was built in collaboration with the Bullitt Group and comes with a 5-inch HD display, Android OS, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, a microSD slot, and an octacore 1.7GHz processor. Nothing too exciting there, right? Remember it is about the imaging.
The Kodak IM5 has an auto-focus 13 megapixel rear camera paired with some fancy image editing software. The image editing app allows users to tune and share photos as well. The front camera is a 5 megapixel. Ehh?
Kodak IM5 will be available in Europe sometime in Q1, 2015 in white and black colors. No mention of pricing.
