Having a newborn at home is challenging to say the least. Babies aren’t particularly great at letting you know when they are hungry, need a diaper changed, or are not feeling well. Any gadget that makes it easier for the weary parents is A-Ok in my book.
So, how do you take an infants temperature? Using a thermometer in the mouth or rectum will work, but neither is easy on a cranky baby. Enter the Summer Infant Thermometer Pacifier ($9). This pacifier thermometer makes taking temperature readings super easy. The pacifier thermometer also switches from green to red if a fever is detected. For just $9 every new parent should have one of these.
