Ever heard of the Eye-Vac Touchless Vacuum? First off, it has nothing to do with vacuuming your eyes. That wouldn’t be good. It is a stationary vacuum that you sweep debris to, then it magically wakes up and sucks up the mess. Pretty cool. I know, you already have a vacuum cleaner. But who wants to lug out the vacuum for a little hard floor cleanup? Just hide the Eye-Vac somewhere in the corner and make sweeping up a bit easier.
There are two versions – the Eye-Vac Home ($99) and the Eye-Vac EVPRO Professional ($116). The main difference I can see, other than the price, is the fact that the home version has a 1000-watt motor and the pro version has a 1400 watt version.
The Eye-Vac is built to be almost ZERO maintenance. The canister is bag-less, so you don’t have to worry about more investment in keeping your Eye-Vac in working order. To empty, simply remove the canister, open the lid and drop all debris into the garbage. The filters are “lifetime” filters & can be cleaned with mild soap & warm water.
