Diving with a scuba tank is great. You just have to be certified and carry a ton of gear with you. Snorkeling is great but you are pretty much limited to a few feet of diving. This Kickstarter project, SCORKL, is basically a mini scuba tank.
The SCORKL will allow up to 10 minutes of dive time and is small enough to fit in a backpack. The tank can be refilled with a manual hand pump or off of a larger scuba tank with the refill adapter. Of course, you will want to get the case, two SCORKL’s, the hand pump, refill adapter, etc… The coolest kit with two tanks will cos about $796. The only flaw I see is that the pressure gauge is on the opposite side of the mouthpiece and you can’t see it while diving.
