I personally think the toilet seat should be left in the up (vertical) position. I know, I am going against the grain here but hear me out. Guys will be messy pigs guys and would you rather they ‘accidentally’ pee all over the bowl or seat? The last thing you want to do when visiting the bathroom to sit down, is have to clean off a bunch of disgusting sticky urine. If the seat was up, it would be clean and protected. OK, I am done with my rant about that – on to this cool product for the rest of the world who likes pee on seats.
The SmartN?dge, currently a Kickstarter campaign, is simple genius. This little robot runs on four AA batteries and sticks to the toilet lid via adhesive tape. After 90-seconds of the seat being in the up/vertical position it flicks the seat down. This is great for folks who already have a slow-lowering toilet seat. For those who don’t have a slow-lowering toilet seat, they will hear a loud slam shortly after finishing their business in the bathroom.
