The folks at SenseFly (remember the SenseFly eBee?) are getting closer to releasing their latest quadcopter drone, the eXom. The main difference between the SenseFly eXom and say the DJI Inspire 1 or the Yuneec Q500 is the addition of more sensors that are aware of the surroundings. The eXom has ultrasonic proximity sensors for the area above and around the copter, artificial intelligence, a fully autonomous mode, a TripleView camera (for HD video, thermal images, and high-resolution pictures), and five vision sensors. Still waiting to hear more about pricing and delivery dates.
