Axon Anti-Gravity RC Hovercraft – The Razorback
I love remote control gadgets… cars… boats… planes… helicopters… etc… So when I saw the video for the Axon Razorback RC hovercraft I pee’d a little. The Razorback will go 25mph right out of the box… but can go 50mph (won’t take 2 minutes to crash it at those speeds) with a simple motor upgrade. […]
Fold-Up Plane Getting Closer To Reality
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aMMm_MczGL0 The ICON A5 showed off it’s transformer like ability to fold-up at last weeks EAA AirVenture show in Oskosh. ICON’s hope is that the plane will appeal to customers who are intimidated by the process of getting a typical pilots license, or/and don’t have a place to store a full sized plane. The ICON […]
Like Disneyland… But Very Different… Diggerland
Whether you think heavy machinery fills a void from previous vacations to Disneyland or not… you have to admit… this unique theme park is cool. Diggerland is a theme park that features real earth moving heavy equipment that kids and adults get to operate. They have dump trucks, back hoes, diggers, etc… The HUGE bummer […]
Chrome Ferrari 599?
So sad to see this type of thing done to a Ferrari 599GTB Fiorano, but at least the car is stuck in the desert. A, obviously rich and bored, Saudi Arabian fellow owns this blinged out Ferrari 599GTB. The car is not actually chrome… someone basically spent days buffing the aluminum body.
Hide Your Valuables – Hidden Safe In Filing Cabinet
I am one of the most paranoid types… I always think of where people will look when I am hiding something of value… and I always worry that my small safe (not bolted down) can just be picked up and walked away with. So, I like when I see “smart” ideas like this one by […]
Crazy BBQ Grills
Just in time for summer BBQ action… some of the craziest BBQ’s ever. We have shown you some cool BBQ tools and grills in the past… but some of these grills are over the top. Not to pass judgement… but you know these are all from the South and Midwest… who else can weld […]
Portable Fireplace…Um Ok?
Inventions for the sake of inventions… puzzled how stuff like this makes it to market. Conmoto has made a portable fireplace labeled the travelmate. The unit weights 55 pounds (not so portable) and burns bio-ethanol (no smoke). I really can’t think of many uses for this type of thing. Any ideas? Yours for only $3,300???
iPhone App – Multi-Client IM App
Palringo is the first official multi-client IM (instant messenger) application for the iPhone. The program supports Google Talk/Jabber, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo, ICQ, iChat, and Gadu-Gadu. I just got done installing it… it takes a a bit to figure it out… but seems to work well once you get the settings right.
RoboFish – Lifelike Robotic Fish
Smart/talented folks at the University of Kitakyushu managed to make a robotic Sea Bream fish that looks incredibly real. The fish weights a full 15.4 pounds and swims like the real thing. [Source]
