FLIR Black Hornet 3 PRS Is A Tiny But Capable Drone
FLIR Systmes, the makers of thermal cameras, have launched their latest drone – the Black Hornet 3. The Black Hornet 3 is a tiny drone marketed to the military, government agencies, and first responders. This Personal Reconnaissance System (PRS) is the world’s smallest combat-proven nano-Unmanned Aerial System (UAS). Just a bunch of words saying it […]
Cool Motorcycle For Under $2,000
What costs half as much as a Honda Monkey, is bigger, more capable, and you can get delivered to your house in about a week? The CSC SG250 San Gabriel ($1,995). While I try to avoid buying things made in China (not easy, and I certainly can’t do it for everything) this bike has some […]
Tesla Releases New Portable Plug-In Charger
Tesla just released a new “portable” wall charger. It looks similar to the hard wired version but comes with a NEMA 14-50 plug. This new charger can charge 25% faster than the Gen 2 Mobile Connector which comes with the car (this assumes you have 50-amps at the wall). It will work with the Model […]
1967 Mustang Looks With Tesla Guts
Yep, that beauty pictured above started off as a gas powered 1967 Mustang. Now, it is more modern than most cars on the road. This car came to life from a Russian EV startup, Aviar Motors, and they are taking a 100kWh Tesla battery and running gear and placing it in an aluminum and carbon […]
2020 Tesla Roadster 0-60 Reactions Video
This awesome video shows the 2020 Tesla Roadster taking test riders on accelerations runs. For reference the Tesla Roadster can go from 0-60 mph in 1.8 or 1.9 seconds. Wild. That is the amazing part, the bummer part is the price tag ($200,000 to $250,000). On to the video of people cursing as they are […]
These Prank Candles Start Off Smelling Great… Then Awful
This is my type of prank. You simply drop off a wonderfully scented candle that smells great for an hour or two of lit time, then it smells really bad. Even the packaging and product keep the secret of what is to come. Get yours here for about $17 with free shipping. This hand-crafted candle literally […]

Facebook Launches A Camera For Your Home – Umm No Thanks
Last week was a massive user-data breach. This week Facebook enters smart display business with Portal, a wireless speaker, camera, LCD, and Alexa integrated gadget. Great timing Facebook! I think I will take a solid pass on Facebook having an open microphone and camera in my home. I will be massively surprised if this product […]
Unlimited Range 4G LTE Parrot DISCO Drone
? My two main gripes about RC drones are around battery life and wireless range. Even the new DJI’s with all of their improvements in battery life and range, still have me wrapping up flights in under 30 minutes. If the tech keeps improving I may not have to wait too much longer. Fingers crossed. […]
