Halfbike II = Half Bike / Half Scooter
Another Kickstarter product that has blown through the pledge amount (at $67,821 as of 4.8.15). The Halfbike is a clever marriage of a bike and scooter. It has 3 wheels, the front of which is powered by traditional bike pedals. The Halfbike II is not just about getting from point a-to-b it is about getting […]
Legal Flamethrower Available For Sale??
Yep. For about the price of an entry level Apple Watch you can buy a 49 state legal flamethrower. Guess which state it isn’t legal in. California of course, where we can’t be trusted with a freakin butterfly knife. I digress. This portable flamethrower, the XM42, is built by Detroit based Ion Productions and costs […]

The future has arrived in the form of a solar powered airplane making a trip around the world. The Solar Impulse 2 took off from Abu Dhabi yesterday with plans of going around the world. Banana Slicer. Really?
I personally thought the banana slicer was a bit ridiculous. I mean it takes a few seconds, with a butter knife, to cut up a banana. Unless you are doing this several hundred times a day I don’t really see the need. I am apparently alone in this way of thinking though as this Hutzler […]
Take Your Feet To The Foot Gym
It almost looks like a gag gift, but it is the real deal. The Foot Gym provides 7 foot and ankle exercises and helps to build strength for better stability. If you have plantar fasciitis, foot pain, or achilles tendonitis you might just want to have foot gym under your desk.
Polar Bear Roaming The Streets Of London
The movie folks at Sky Atlantic created this lifelike polar bear to promote their upcoming show, Fortitude. The polar bear took 19 prop specialists eight weeks to craft and build. They used over 60 different materials including 90-sqft of sheep fur. The fake polar bear isn’t a robot and actually has two humans inside controlling […]
The Main Drain Is A Urinal That Attaches To Your Toilet
I thought this one was a gag gift like the Prank Pack boxes you can buy online. Apparently the Main Drain is real however. At least real enough to be on KickStarter. For $45 (assuming they hit their $50,000 goal) you can have one of the best white elephant gifts ever. Who would actually strap […]
Old People Playing Grand Theft Auto V = Hilarious
This is a hilarious video of a few senior citizens playing Grand Theft Auto V for about 30 minutes. The video has been edited to show the funny bits.
Yoogo Safety Defense Keychain
My favorite option for simple self defense (outside of a gun) is pepper spray. It is inexpensive, works well and can fend off multiple targets with less physical interaction. In other words I would rather my wife carry pepper spray than let’s say a knife. I would rather she spray and run than try and […]
Quite Possibly The Best Wine Decanter – Menu WineBreather Carafe
Wine decanting is important if you want your wine to taste better. Decanting wine tends to improve the tasting experience. The wine will interact with oxygen making it more drinkable while improving the flavor and softening the bitterness in the tannins. The Menu WineBreather Carafe isn’t just a carafe. On top of the Menu WineBreather […]
