Parrot Anafi Drone
Finally a drone worth comparing/competing with the DJI models (Spark, Mavic Air). The Parrot Anafi is a great drone that is both portable and capable. Instead of talking to all of the points with this drone I will highlight some of the cool/new features and some of the negatives (not too many). New stuff/Cool stuff […]
Richard Mille 25-01 Tourbillon Adventure Watch
This watch, which likely costs more than your house, has been in the making for four years. It is a collaboration between Richard Mille and Sylvester Stallone. The RM25-01 would certainly make Rambo proud, assuming he has $983,000. The Richard Mille 25-01 Tourbillon Adventure Watch has a 50.85 bezel, wild tourbillon movement, 24-hour time display, a […]
BolaWrap 100 Hand-Held Remote Restraint Device
Good news. The police have another less-lethal option for their already overloaded duty belts. The BolaWrap 100 shoots a kevlar tether to entangle people at a range of 10-25 feet. Perfect for the crazy person that doesn’t quite deserve the taser yet. Existing less lethal devices rely on “pain compliance”, increasing the chance of injury […]
DIY Build-Your-Own Casket Kit
I tell yah, Amazon really does sell just about everything. They even sell a wooden casket that you assemble yourself, and this one actually makes sense to me. Personally, I don’t want a bunch of money spent on a box for my remains. Not to mention, most of the caskets out there today are made […]
Nikon COOLPIX P1000 Comes With Massive 125x Zoom
I thought I wanted a DSLR camera but didn’t want to have to sell my kids to add a lens here and there. So, I started checking out the slightly more compact Nikon COOLPIX P1000 which is what I will call DSLR-like. The zoom lens on the COOLPIX P1000 ($996) is insane at 24-3000mm (125x). Imagine […]
Medieval Horned Skull Mug
If you need to make a statement at work, or your next party, this is the mug that says IDGAF. Remember the Office Space movie where the fed up dude cleans a fish at his desk? Well this mug isn’t that gangsta but it certainly sends a message. Here is the fish cleaning scene for […]
Amazon Cloud Cam Security Camera
Let me just get this part out of the way, I am currently a fan of Google’s Nest line of cameras. They are proven, have fair priced recording options, and work outdoors (the outdoor version of course). That doesn’t mean there isn’t room for more competitors. While good, the Nest cameras have plenty of places […]
Fulcrum Eclipse Knife Transforms From Coin To Knife
The team at Fulcrum Knives in San Francisco have launched a Kickstarter campaign for a new nano blade knife. The Fulcrum Eclipse Knife is unique in that it starts off as a coin shape when closed and then transforms to a little knife. From watching the video it looks a bit precarious to open and […]
Waterlily Turbine Is A Portable Water And Wind USB Charger
Maybe solar isn’t your thing. Maybe you will need recharging while along side a running river. Heck, maybe you will be in some seriously windy areas. Time for a Waterlily Turbine Charger ($159) which uses wind/water power for charging up your USB devices. the waterlily weighs 2.86 lbs, can withstand water currents up to 6.8 […]
Wristwatch That Detects And Records Radiation Levels
With the 2011 Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster still fresh in our minds some folks want to know if, and when, they come into contact with radioactive material. This watch is about 1/3 the cost of typical radiation detecting watches at $320. The Polimaster PM1208M continuously monitors radiation and counts radiation dose exposure. The watch will […]
