MTM AC4C Ammo Crate Kit
Ammo cans are great for storing stuff (not just ammo). Great for the garage, shop, back of the truck or UTV, heck… even handy in the kitchen. The metal ammo cans tend to look a bit too military for some folks, and they tend to rust a bit. Time for an upgrade. Read on for […]
Apple HomePod Gets Stereo Pairing And AirPlay 2
While Apple might not be first to the show, they are often worth the wait. If you want a smart speaker that sounds good and doesn’t pimp out your data – check out the Apple HomePod. Not only is it one of best sounding of the bunch, it looks pretty nice to boot. The HomePod launched […]
Cleo Pocket Sized Drone
Currently there is more unknown about the Cleo Drone than is known. Release date? Price? Specs? You get the idea. However, the drone looks pretty cool in the fact that the blades are completely protected and that the size will fit in the pocket. I personally would spend some time modding mine to look like […]
Hybrid Laser Tape Measure
This nifty tool is a traditional 16-foot tape measure with a built-in 50-foot laser tape measure. Yep, that is it. No need to read any further. Hey, I said you didn’t have to ready any further. Ok, since you are still here – The General Tools LTM1 sticks with the old-school tape measure for short-span […]
Backyard Chicken Coop
The taste of a “true” free range chicken egg is much better than what we typically get at the grocery store. The yolk is a darker, deeper yellow and stands up in the pan. Once you have had a good egg it makes it tough to eat the sad, pale, inexpensive eggs that most folks […]
Battery Bank Charging Case For Apple Watch
If you have an Apple Watch and are like me, you have some sort of bedside charging stand for your watch. At the end of the day, I put my Apple Watch on its charging stand so it is ready in the morning. When I travel I find myself having to disassemble the stand to […]
Epson Moverio BT-300FPV Smart Glasses For DJI Drones
I had no idea Epson (the printer people) started making FPV Smart Glasses designed for the drone market. In this case they are made specifically for the DJI line of drones. And from a light dive into the reviews it turns out they are pretty darn good. Unlike the bulky DJI Goggles, the Epson BT-300FPV […]
Google Assistant Making Appointment Phone Calls On Your Behalf = Woah
This video from Google’s I/O 2018 developer conference shows off how far the AI voice assistant has come. The AI piece is impressive and works well in these samples, but I am more impressed with the realistic voice and speak disfluencies. Have a listen after the break and prepare to have your mind blown.
GDU 02 Drone Folds Up With Controller Into A Brick
Just like cameras, the best drone is the one you have with you. Most of them tend to be sitting at home due to the lack of portability. While DJI has made strides with their Spark, the controller is another item you have to lug around. While I am pretty confident that if I could […]
Step Up Your Bubbly Water Game
The SodaStream has dominated the DIY water carbonation market. They work pretty good, are priced fairly, and make loud embarrassing noises when in use. The perfect addition to any party I suppose. All fine and dandy for the masses, but what if you want something a bit fancier. A bit quieter. Check out the AARKE […]
