BioLite FirePit For More Efficient Fires With Less Smoke
We are big fans of the BioLite CampStove 2 and have used it on several trips with great results. The BioLite FirePit $199 (currently on Kickstarter with May 2018 shipping) continues on the tradition of air injected conbustion. This is BioLite’s biggest oven/stove system yet, perfect for sitting around as a campfire or cooking with […]
Amazing Lego Rollercoaster
That is it, I am selling my legos. This guy is a level 10 and I am somewhere near a 1. Worth a watch of this quick video showing a wooden lego rollercoaster (after the page break).
Honda 150SS Racer
The Honda 150SS Racer is a new concept bike, not a Honda Grom with mods. The Honda 150SS Racer was unveiled, as a concept (for now), at the Bangkok Motor Show this year. From the looks of it, the engine is from a Honda CBR150R which is a much sportier beast than the Grom’s motor. […]
Aluminum And Mercury
Ever wondered what happens when aluminum and mercury mix things up? Pretty cool stuff. Video after the break.

DJI Mavic Pro Platinum – Longer And Quieter Flights
Drones, and DJI specifically, have come a long way in the last few years. Flight distances, telemetry, obstacle avoidance, silky smooth gimbals, high quality cameras, and size reduction are just a few of the areas that have improved massively. DJI has just addressed two more issues in an effort to perfect the quadcopter with their […]
SanDisk 400GB microSD
About two years after releasing the 200GB microSD card (which was the highest-capacity at the time), Sandisk has done it again with a massive 400GB version (SDSQUAR-400G-GN6MA). That is 40 hours of full HD video and transfer speeds of up to 100 MB per second. All of this for the price of $250. Amazing.
Coolest Weather Site Yet – Ventusky
As a kid I used to think it was strange that the “adults” were always talking about the weather. Fast forward several years and I check the weather every day. What happened to me? Oh well. If I am going to check the weather, I should at least enjoy the website/UI. This website, VentuSKY, allows […]
Gyroscopic Transport
Not sure whether to put this under the “genius” or “crazy” section but it certainly is interesting. Public transportation in most of the US is not that great. Traffic tends to bring most forms of transport to a grinding halt. This futuristic approach to mass transport by Dahir Insaat is simply called Gyroscopic Transport. Best […]
Federal Cold War Bunker Had 4-Billion In Cash
Don’t go looking to break in to this Fed bunker in Culpeper, Virginia. It “had” 4-billion in cash… not “has”. You are too late. This bunker cost 6-million to build in 1969 and is now known as the National Audio Visual Conservation Center. It currently holds TV and music recordings but it has a much […]
