Zojirushi NS-ZCC18

I have used, and thrown out, more rice cookers than I care to talk about.  With that said, I have distilled years of rice cooker usage/testing and decided that the Zojirushi NS-ZCC18 is the best rice cooker on the market.  We eat a lot of rice, so the NS-ZCC18 10-cup unit works fine, if you don't need the larger size you can get the NS-ZCC10 5.5-cup model.

Both models are extremely easy to operate, the main difference being the ability to serve 10 people (NS-ZCC10) or 20 people (NS-ZCC18).  In the past I have struggled with larger capacity rice cookers not being able to get the rice cooked properly.  The rice at the bottom/middle would be a soggy clump while the rice on top would be fluff/dry.  The Zojirushi NS-ZCC18 Rice Cooker has no problems making the full 10-cups of rice.

The Neuro Fuzzy technology works to monitor internal temperature and humidity, making adjustments to heat and cooking time.  Long story short, it watches the rice so that it comes out perfectly every time.  The inner bowl of the Zojirushi rice cooker is designed to optimize heat distribution cooking the rice evenly.  Both features make sure you get great rice, every time.

Automatic Keep-Warm Feature

The NS-ZCC18 also has an automatic keep-warm function which kicks in as soon as cooking is done.

Extended Keep-Warm Feature

Family or guests running late?  No problem you can keep the rice in an optimal state for up to four hours.  This feature is also helpful in keeping soups or stews warm as well.

I concur! I LOVE this rice cooker! The rice always turns out perfect and the water to rice ratio they have on the bowl is a nice feature. My only complaint is that it takes 2 hours to cook! My other rice cookers took half that time. But that’s the price you pay for perfect rice…
