Again, our fine government is taking great lengths to protect us. Geese thanks. The fine piece of US legislation that made it mandatory for EV's to make more noise when moving has delayed the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. The Hyundai Sonata Hybrid was supposed to launch in 2010 but had to make last minute changes to comply with this stupid law. Apparently Hyundai had a switch that the user could toggle off or on for this virtual engine sound and our fine government requested that it be left on permanently. Can anyone say noise pollution?
