I know, it looks like a conceptual gadget or a hopeful product rendering for release sometime next year. But it is real, the Nike+ FuelBand ($150) is a wearable bracelet that has a built-in three-axis accelerometer for tracking time, calories burned, and daily steps. Then creates a score called NikeFuel which is basically a score based on oxygen kinetics that awards points equally regardless of physical makeup. You can upload your data to the Nike+ website via USB, or wirelessly connect to your smartphone over Bluetooth and use an app. LEDs on the wristband can display your current status and give you an easy red-to-green goal indicator.
