87MPH Mile-Long Zipline
I have tried ziplining a few times while vacationing. It is always fun, but always too short and certainly never scary. Time to vacation in Nepal I guess. The zipline pictured above, the ZipFlyer, has a vertical drop of about 2,000 feet (600 meters) and a total distance of about 6,000 feet (1.8KM, 1.13 miles). […]

Dude Buys Boeing 727 And Converts It To A Home
After watching the video (after the break) of Bruce Campbell and his Boeing 727 house… I had more questions than answers. I don’t want to spoil the video… but does Bruce plan on improving the design of his interior? How the heck did he get the non-flying Boeing 727 onto his Oregon land? Bruce… do […]

How To Make A Tesla Lightning Bolt Gun
Who wouldn’t want a gadget that shoots lighting at the pull of a trigger? Ok, my wife wouldn’t want one. But I would, seriously… put this on my list of gifts I will most likely never get. The Tesla lightning gun pictured above was built by Rob Flickenger and he has put together a very […]
Bodum Pebo Coffee Maker
The Bodum Pebo Santos Glass Vacuum Coffee Maker is described as a “theatrical, entertaining method of brewing six 5-ounce cups of coffee”. Hmmm, not sure how I feel about theatrical coffee brewing… but I do love Bodum products. The Bodum Pebo Coffee Maker is made of heat resistant glass and has a stay-cool handle. All […]
Athos Quad-Cycle
Think of the Athos Quad-Cycle as a beastly four wheel bicycle. Contes Engineering built the Athos to combine the stability and handling of a quad with the flexibility of a bike. The Athos would be perfect for the summer downhill season at the ski slopes. Hope they figure out a rental program… because while I […]
