Palm Treo Pro – Is Palm Back?
Is Palm back? I say, “not yet”. Why? Because Palm’s latest smartphone, the Treo Pro, is using, arguably, the worse phone platform – Windows Mobile. The smartphone looks cool… it comes unlocked (Tri-band UMTS/Quad-band GSM), has a high-resolution color touch screen, built in Wi-Fi, GPS, removable battery, a microSDHC slot, and a 2-megapixel camera. Not […]
Strap-On For The iPhone
Despite its weird appearance, this is actually not a bad gadget, if it works. For mere $19.00 you can get the Apple iPhone 3G Mobile Phone Telescope. Its a 6x optical appendage that will compensate for your iPhone’s shortcomings. The only problem I see with this item is its price. No self respecting Apple geek […]
OCZ Core Series V2 Sata II SSD
OCZ, the memory dudes, just released their Core Series 2.5-inch Sata SSD drive that is fast… very fast. The drive will write at 98Mb/s and read at 170MB/s, and maximum size will be 250GB’s. A cool feature is the addition of a mini USB port for firmware upgrades and hopefully external storage use. No […]
Axon Anti-Gravity RC Hovercraft – The Razorback
I love remote control gadgets… cars… boats… planes… helicopters… etc… So when I saw the video for the Axon Razorback RC hovercraft I pee’d a little. The Razorback will go 25mph right out of the box… but can go 50mph (won’t take 2 minutes to crash it at those speeds) with a simple motor upgrade. […]
Stupid Rumor – iPhone Nano Coming By Christmas
So I heard this from my father’s brother’s nephew’s cousin’s former roommate who lives in England that there is an iPhone Nano in the making and it will be landing by Christmas. This was confirmed by an online article in UK so you know this shit is real. The product will be launched in the […]
Hide Your Valuables – Hidden Safe In Filing Cabinet
I am one of the most paranoid types… I always think of where people will look when I am hiding something of value… and I always worry that my small safe (not bolted down) can just be picked up and walked away with. So, I like when I see “smart” ideas like this one by […]
Find Your Luggage Easier At The Airport Carousel
Seems like 90% of the luggage out there looks identical these days. Some folks try and differentiate their luggage with a piece of yarn or tape… and that works fine, until your luggage flips over, etc… Enter the “Easy-2-Pick” which should be available this fall for under $20. The Easy-2-Pick lights up, beeps, and vibrates […]
iPhone App – Multi-Client IM App
Palringo is the first official multi-client IM (instant messenger) application for the iPhone. The program supports Google Talk/Jabber, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo, ICQ, iChat, and Gadu-Gadu. I just got done installing it… it takes a a bit to figure it out… but seems to work well once you get the settings right.
The Dark Knight – Batman Logo Projector
Batman and Dark Knight fans everywhere should be rocking one of these nerdy key chains soon. Not really sure if the old batman logo or the new dark knight logo shoots out of the end of this thing…. as it seems to be having a bit of an identity crisis. (shoots one logo while […]
