USB Desktop Aquarium For Real Fish
While I am not certain this is a great idea… It sure is neat. From the looks of the picture, you might be lucky to get 1 (maybe 2 goldfish) in this tank… or some smaller fish like tetra’s. The USB Desktop Aquarium has a LCD calendar with date/time/day, temperature, alarm clock, countdown timer, a […]

The innovative crew at Zeal Optics has released a new set of goggles with GPS built in. The Transcend GPS goggles have a LCD mounted inside and show full tons of functions such as speed, chrono, altitude, distance, vertical, location, and temperature. Expect to see the Transcend GPS goggles on 10.10.10 (Clever) for about $500.
Hungry? Stock Up On 1 Year Supply Of Dehydrated & Freeze Dried Food
I don’t have much experience with Shelf Reliance’s Thrive product but the price looks decent. Think about it… one years worth of food storage for around $1,000. You get grains, fruits, vegetables, meats, and beans. As an added bonus they are throwing in a wheat grinder. I guess the wheat grinder is a bit of […]
Datel TurboFire2 Wireless Xbox 360 Controller
The Datel TurboFire2 Wireless Xbox 360 Controller is pretty slick and very customizable. It is a little to slick according to Microsoft who is suing the British company Datel. The Datel TurboFire2 controller for xbox 360 even allows you to connect it to your PC and download specific game enhancements for the controller. Using a […]
Coolest Above Ground Pool
Typically when I think of an above ground pool I tend to think of something quite ghetto-fabulous like the pictures below… not the picture above (and after the break). This awesome above ground pool was designed by Andres Remy Architects and is in Devoto, Argentina. Gotta love the glass wall.
Tense Wooden Watches
The folks at Tense make watches… watches out of wood. Tense has been in business since 1971 and makes these wood watches in British Colombia, Canada. Why would you buy a watch made of wood? They are hypoallergenic, have a two year warranty, use stainless steel movement from Citizen (Miyota), and tend to look better […]

Hair Washing Robot By Panasonic
I remember the good old days of getting my hair, when I had hair, washed at the hair cutters. There was something incredibly relaxing and therapeutic about those hair washes. With that said… I wonder if the Panasonic hair washing robot would offer the same good feelings… and for that matter a good hair washing. […]
BlackBerry PlayBook
Will have to wait and see if BlackBerry’s PlayBook, their latest attempt to piss off compete with Apple and the iPad. The BlackBerry PlayBook’s price is still unknown… but what we do know is that it has a 7-inch touchscreen, dual HD cameras, a 1GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB of RAM (wtf?), an HDMI output, 802.11n […]
TruFocals Adjustable Lens Glasses
I was just tipped off by my father of a clever invention and product, a pair of adjustable focus glasses called TruFocals. You can adjust them from your normal prescription to a reading glass with the slide of a lever (located above the bridge). “Seeing clearly everywhere, from up close to infinity, is finally possible. […]
