While the Chemex and Sowden Oskar coffee gadgets are current favorites in my kitchen, the Ratio Eight Coffee Maker has me intrigued. The Ratio Eight Coffee Machine wants to make the “right” brewing technique simple and automated. Brewing properly is important to get the best out of your coffee beans. You need the right temperature water, you should lightly pre-soak (for lack of a better term) your grounds allowing them to bloom, and finally pour the remaining water over your coffee grounds.
