Ring Gun
It’s a ring… it’s a gun… it’s that simple. The only bad part is that I can’t find any video of the thing actually firing (and it isn’t for sale). Not sure of the practicality here… but we are a gadget blog, and this is a cool gadget. Video of the product after the break.

Jesus Sports Statues
Watch Russ walk on eggshells, you gotta be careful with the religious bits. At first glance I thought these were a joke, they just don’t look real… but let me assure you, they are real. For about $25 you can get a statue with Jesus helping children in the following sports; Baseball Football Track Soccer […]
RSStroom Reader – Toilet Paper Printer
Not sure how some ideas actually make it past the drawing board all the way to a finished product in a three color box. But they just keep on coming. The latest “why” invention is a toilet paper printer that wirelessly connects to the internet and prints your favorite RSS feeds onto the TP. I […]
LG Decoy Coming To A Store Near You On June 16
The LG Decoy VX8610 is a slider style phone with a new look. There are four standard buttons that surround a trackball d-pad (similar the ball used on BlackBerry devices). Cereal Straws?
I saw this at a friends house (Ray and Viv you ought to be ashamed of yourselves) over the weekend, and I wondered why anyone would buy this product. I mean, the last thing a kid needs after eating a sugary cereal is a sugary straw (?) to drink the milk with. What happened to […]
UV Cootie and Germ Killing Wand
I went to college (surprise) with guys who would eat pizza crust off the floor. They either had really good immune systems or spent quite a bit of time on the toilet. I on the other hand, am a bit of a germarphobe, I don’t even like sharing drinks/straws with family. Sorry Mom. So when […]
Solar Powered Battery Charger
I have an addiction to solar gadgets and rechargeable batteries. So when you combine the two you have a winner in my book. This unit costs less than $24 at Amazon, and charges D (UM-1), C(UM-2), AA (UM-3), and AAA (UM-4) size batteries. The solar panel is built into the hinged lid which allows you […]
San Jose State University Opens Second Life Campus
San Jose State University (SJSU), my alma mater, is taking a big leap forward by offering a virtual campus on the Second Life game (?). Some day, mark my words, we are all going to be socially backwards and scared to see anyone face-to-face in this world of drive through’s, ATM’s, online banking, online grocery […]
Timberjack 6-Legged Walking/Logging Robot
“Felling trees is a tedious task, hoping to make matters easier is this Plustech Oy / John Deere hexapod logging machine prototype. It has strong six-legs that does less damage to the forest and can move through more difficult terrain than wheeled or tracked logging machines. Apparently when the machine confronts obstacles, it simply steps […]
