Milwaukee And The Old Pabst Blue Ribbon Brewery
We made it to Milwaukee. Spent two nights in the old Pabst Blue Ribbon Brewery building. One of the buildings is now an amazing hotel that has kept much of the history in tact (see the original copper kettles from the 1890’s). Can’t think of a better place to stay in Milwaukee. We were lucky […]
Mt Rushmore, Summit Brewery, And Not Much More…
Made it to Mt Rushmore. The picture says it all. Funny billboards out here… one of them pictured below on the way to Minnesota. Everything seems bigger out here, especially the chairs. Went to Summit Brewery in St. Paul, MN. The beer was OK… the tour was bleh. Steve still managed to find some entertainment […]
Equus Bass 770
Take a 1960’s/1970’s retro look and add all new high-end components and you begin to scratch the surface of the Equus Bass 770. The frame and body are made of aluminum, the engine is an aluminum 6.2l V8 (making 640 horsepower), the brakes are carbon ceramic, suspension is magnetic, and the interior is all luxury. […]
Road Shower = Solar Shower For Your Car Or Truck
While the solar shower bags are handy for camping and such… they don’t hold a candle to the Road Shower. What the heck is the Road Shower? It isn’t just showering on the road. It is a solar powered shower that mounts on to your existing roof rack and patiently waits until you need a […]
iPhone 5S With Touch ID Fingerprint Sensor
Looks like most of the iPhone rumors were spot on. Of the new iPhone 5S upgrades my favorite is the Touch ID Fingerprint Sensor that makes it tougher on the bad buys and easier on the user. You simply place your finger on the home button and the phone will unlock. No more typing in […]
Dyson Sues Samsung For Vacuum Design Copy
Apparently Samsung didn’t learn anything from the patent infringement lawsuit with Apple. Samsung is at the copycat thing again with their new Motion Sync Vacuum Cleaner which copies the Dyson vacuums steering mechanism. Considering Dyson has already successfully sued Samsung for other patent violations I think Samsung needs to pull out their checkbook again. […]
Vicky Is Almost Ready
So the official road trip car “Queen Victoria Johnson” (Vicky for short”) is almost done being outfitted. Above is a picture of the car at the shop (A&D Autowerks). We felt the need to upgrade the electronics, replace stereo equipment, add a CB radio, hard mount 4 GoPro cameras (just in case), install the bullhorn […]
Rimac Greyp G12 Electric Bike
This bicycle/motorcycle hybrid lets you use peddle power or go all electric. The electric motor can power the rider up to 40mph with a 75 mile range. It takes the Rimac Greyp G12 Electric Bike just 80 minutes to charge from empty on a standard wall outlet. Not impressed? How about a fingerprint activated ignition. […]
Pure Fix Glow Bike
The bike nerds at Pure Fix Cycles make some pretty cool bikes with clean and minimalist designs. Their latest trick is to use glow in the dark paint on a few of their bikes (The Hotel, Kilo, Micro Kilo, and Zulu). The paint takes one hour of sunlight to give off one hour of night […]
