It looks like the Apple iPad has its first real competitor, the Samsung Galaxy Tab. The Samsung Galaxy Tab is Android based, has 3G and 802.11n, front and rear cameras, and should be hitting the shelves in the next few months.

Looks like ViewSonic is jumping on the Android-based tablet bandwagon. The ViewPad 7 tablet is in the works and will feature a 7-inch screen, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, GPS, microSD slot, microphone, speaker, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a mini USB port, and a front and rear facing camera. Yawn.
