iPhone Currently Unavailable At US Apple Store Online?

Something weird is going on… first I noticed that the iPhone “Add to cart” button was missing from the Apple UK Store… Now it is listed as “unavailable” at the US Apple Store. Looks like the 3G rumor will be full steam ahead when folks wake up. I can’t wait for my 3G unit. :*******UPDATE […]

Apple No Longer Selling The iPhone At UK Apple Store

Not sure what to think of this one, but Apple rarely tends to make mistakes. The UK Apple Store no longer has the “add to cart” button on just the iPhone’s. I am just speculating here… but if they are stopping the direct sales of iPhone’s then they may be getting ready to launch […]

HTC Touch Diamond In The Hands Of The FCC

HTC’s Touch Diamond has made it to the FCC which means you will be seeing this phone soon.  The phones interface seems to have done a decent job (from first glances) at putting some lipstick on the Microsoft Windows Mobile OS.  Will be watching user reviews after this makes it into the wild.

NBC.com Streaming 30 Rock And The Office To Your iPhone

NBC is now streaming 30 Rock and The office to the iPhone via the Safari browser and QuickTime. Very slick, but don’t bother attempting this over the slow edge network. Wait until you have a wifi connection. “Streaming 30 Rock over our quick Wi-Fi network was rather pleasant. After waiting six seconds while the data […]

Iomega Goes Camouflage

In an effort to differentiate a storage commodity, Iomega has released a new line of external hard drives labeled “eGo”.  The camouflage version comes with a black “iomega power grip”. Someone in marketing is smoking the good stuff, my favorite quote, “adding a style of adventure and intrigue to the eGo color kaleidoscope.” Too funny.

AT&T Leaked Memo – iPhone in June?

Looks like Apple’s leakiest partner AT&T has put more fuel on the rumor fire with the latest memo leak.  Supposedly a AT&T memo for retail store employees went out saying not to take vacations from June 15th to July 12th.  Same thing happened last year during the last iPhone release.  The memo mentions “an exciting […]

iPhone Competition? HTC’s Touch Diamond

HTC is launching it’s newest smartphone the HTC Touch Diamond to compete with the upcoming 3G iPhone. My largest concern with this new phone is the 4 color flag in the top left of the screen. I have tried several Microsoft based phones and they are typically FAR from intuitive when it comes to the […]

RC-12 miniature waterproof wireless Color Video Camera

What’s 1.4 inches long, weighs half an ounce, and comes from Japan?  Get your mind out of the gutter! A miniature 2.7MP wireless color video camera from RF System Lab dubbed the RC-12. After bringing us the capsule endoscope (another tiny camera that allowed us to tour our colons), RF System Lab introduces this amazing […]

AT&T WiFi HotSpots Free To iPhone Users And Crafty Folks

AT&T is offering free WiFi at their hotspots (Barnes and Noble, Starbucks, etc…) for iPhone users after you enter your phone number for validation.  The mischievous part of all of this, is that anyone with an AT&T account can access the free WiFi if they just switch their browser’s user agent to Mobile Safari.  Seems […]
