Imagine that, China selling anything to make a buck. In this case, China is selling fully autonomous weaponized drones to the Middle East. These drones, including the Blowfish A3, are capable of conducting swarm style lethal-attacks on targets.

GoPro’s latest camera, GoPro Max, is three cameras in one: a 360 mode camera, a screen-facing vlogging style camera, and a traditional HERO style camera. The latest video stabilization, Max HyperSmooth is amazing. No more jerky videos.

The team at Hound Labs has raised 65-million dollars and is aiming to make the first marijuana breathalyzer. The Russian’s don’t have much luck when it comes to using nuclear power/weapons. Think Chernobyl, Mayak, and Kyshtym. Well, it doesn’t stop there. This week they were testing a liquid-propelled rocket near Nyonoksa when there was an explosion that killed two people and injured at least six more. Shortly after this explosion, there was a spike in radiation levels at over 20x above average. Time to buy some iodine. [

Now that the RC quadcopters and drones have proven so stable and reliable, they are growing in size and carrying humans. It was only a matter of time. Heck, the Tesla’s are basically giant versions of the electric RC cars I play with from time-to-time. Looks like these coaxial octocopter versions (and quadcopter styles) will be hitting the sky to race within the next 18-months if all goes to plan. I am a huge fan of the Nest line of cameras – the Nest Cam Outdoor, Nest Cam Indoor (just buy the outdoor version), and the Nest Hello Doorbell. With that said, I will toss them all in the trash if the Google/Nest decide to follow Amazon’s (Ring) level of creepiness with regards to sharing camera data.

Damn you Lego. I am a grown man. Why do you keep making me buy toys I don’t need?
This beautiful treehouse comes with 3,036 pieces and is over 14-inches tall. It is currently the largest lego set in the LEGO Ideas lineup. This Lego Treehouse (21318) even comes with two sets of leaves in different colors for summer and fall. There are three cabins inside the tree and four minifigs.

The infamous Chevrolet Corvette has had a ton of design changes over its lifetime. Some were good and some were downright ugly. The 2020 Corvette C8 Stingray, IMHO, is one of the good years. The engineers at Chevy didn’t reuse and older designs and basically started from scratch.
The 2020 C8 Corvette Stingray is the first mid-engine Corvette. The new 6.2L LT2 V8 can be viewed through a rear hatch window and puts out 495-horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. All this goodness can be had for under $60k. More pictures after the break. (more…)
