Dental Patients See Updated Smiles With Augmented Reality
Just like the augmented reality filters on your smartphone that allow you to wear glasses, hats, and other silly faces, dentists are getting in on the game. Researchers in Switzerland have developed a “virtual mirror” that allows patients to try on their new smile ahead of the surgery. This technology was created by Kapanu and […]
Automatic Remote Controlled Car Tent Umbrella
Apparently this is a “thing” as there are multiple manufacturers of this car tent umbrella gadget. I have yet to see one of these car tent things in the real world. For around $239 you can have a remote controlled umbrella for your car. You simply put it on the roof of your car, hit […]
Pepper Spray Flashlight
If you have ever been sprayed with pepper spray (OC) you know it is a pretty powerful deterrent and hurts like hell. So why not pair it with a flashlight for home defense? A new Nest thermostat has landed, the Nest Thermostat E. Not sure about the name but let’s talk about what is different/new. Not much. The Nest Thermostat E now has a frosted LCD screen, a white bezel, a slightly smaller diameter (3.19 instead of 3.3). It also comes, out of the box, with a pre-set […]
Ocean Wave Projector

The ocean wave projector creates a relaxing visual display (in dark rooms) on any surface you point it at, mainly the ceiling. There are seven colors and brightness settings. There […]
OTTOLOCK Lightweight Bike Lock
The OTTOLOCK is a clever take on the age old problem of what bike lock should I use. You can go with the super heavy and slightly more secure locks but you have to lug that weight around with you. And to be fair, all locks, yes all locks, can be compromised rather quickly with […]
EZ-Load Toilet Paper Holder
Imagine that. Someone finally invented a toilet paper holder that can be changed one-handed. No more fiddling with 1900’s bathroom gadgetry. Not only is this great for kids and folks with arthritis poor sight, it is just great for the masses. You can get your one-handed toilet paper holder for $14 here.
