Ridgid 31693 WD1851 16 Gallon 6.5 HP Wet/Dry Vacuum With Cart Review
It was time for a new shop vacuum. After looking around a bit and comparing specs that were important to me (size, suction power, tool attachments, etc…) the Rigid 31693 WD1851 won the challenge and came home with me. I have had the Rigid WD1851 for a while now and thought I should update folks […]
Birdie – Make Your GoPro Camera Fly
The Birdie is 1/2 shuttlecock and 1/2 GoPro camera mount. Once the GoPro is mounted in the Birdie you simply play catch with it or throw it as high as you can. Think of it as a selfie stick that you can throw in the air for some cool aerial shots from above. Not quite […]
Tactical LED Flashlight Knife
Two things I like very much. Flashlights and knives. This Nestsun Tactical Flashlight Knife ($15) is fairly priced and has pretty good reviews as well. The flashlight is powered by a rechargeable lithium 18650 battery and uses a 250lm cree LED. There are three lighting options (high, low, and flashing), an adjustable zoom ring, and […]
Marvel Legends Iron Man Helmet
If you are a Marvel fan or a cosplay nerd the Marvel Legends Iron Man Helmet ($79.99) might be up your alley. The helmet is designed to look just like the one from the movie at a 1:1 scale. It has glowing LED eyes, a magnetized faceplate, and three sound effects just like the original […]
Sunflower Home Awareness System
Hmm. Not sure how I feel about this one. It is either the best or the worst idea. The premise behind The Sunflower Labs system is that you have outdoor sensors (Sunflower Smart Lights) that look like typical accent lights. These Sunflower Smart Lights sense movement and/or vibrations and alert the drone Flying Camera to checkout the potential […]
Opinel DIY Knife
Ever heard of Opinel knives? Yep, me neither but it turns out they have been making great EDC knives in France since the late 1800’s. This yellow (or grey) handled beauty adds a new trick to an otherwise traditional knife in the form of two screwdriver bits. The bits are nestled on the sides of the […]

Electric bikes aren’t exactly cheap. Heck, you probably already have a dust covered bicycle sitting in the garage. The Electron Wheel ($799) is a 30 second upgrade that will make your existing bicycle and electric one. The Electron Wheel is a quick front wheel swap that offers a 250W motor, speeds of up to 20-mph, […]
Pizzacraft Pizzeria Pronto Stovetop Pizza Oven
Pizza is a tough one to beat. Pizza covers most food groups. Pizza doesn’t discriminate agains vegans, carnivore, gluten-free folks, skinny, or fat. With that said, there is good and bad pizza. It doesn’t matter if it is frozen or take-and-bake, some are clearly better than others. One thing that can take your circular meal up […]
Quadsaw Cuts Square Holes In Drywall Quickly And Accurately
If you are a contractor or electrician you know how important it is to have the right tool for the job at hand. Until now, there wasn’t a specific/easy to use tool for cutting holes/rectangles in drywall. Well there is now, the Quadsaw. The Quadsaw attaches to a standard drill and makes quick work of […]
DJI Accidentally Sends Factory Video To Customer
DJI, the Phantom Drone dudes, accidentally shipped a drone to a customer that has an SD memory card with live factory footage. Oddly enough this isn’t the first time this has happened with DJI. The video is short and the bored guy in pink is surely going to be famous with that amazing eye-rolling. Hopefully he […]
