Divoom Voombox Travel Rugged Portable Wireless Speaker Review
Before even charging the Divoom Voombox Travel Bluetooth Speaker I couldn’t help but notice the heavy/rugged feel. The speaker weighs 312 grams (just over 11 ounces) and has five rubber rings that circle the unit. The speaker reminds me of a grenade because of the shape and circular clip on top. Read on for the […]
When Your Motorcycle, Scooter, Or ATV Battery Dies, Replace It With A Shorai Lithium Battery
For those of you that don’t know I am a big guy who happens to love scooters. Not sure where that all started. Possibly from my younger years when the fastest mode of transportation available to us were scooters. Well, one of my favorite scooters, the Honda GROM battery died with just 450 miles on […]
Waterproof Your iPhone… Or Android If That Is Your Thing…
While I disagree with their claim of being the “… first super-hydrophobic spray for iPhone” I think they are one of the first to make a kit that users can do at home. The Impervious Invisible Waterproofing Kit makes it pretty easy to waterproof/protect your smartphones exterior. If you want it to be truly waterproof […]
Video Of A Silencer On A Shotgun
Ever wondered what a suppressed shotgun sounds like? I didn’t even know they existed until this video was sent to me. Quite impressive how much quieter a shotgun (12ga) is with a silencer is… Shotgun silencer video after the break.

The BioCasa 82 is Europe’s first LEED Platinum home. The BioCasa 82 looks small in the picture but it has over 5,000 sqft. The home was designed by Rosario […]
BMW’s ABS Pro Allows For Hard Braking In Corners
When it comes to advanced ABS braking systems for motorcycles, BMW is the clear leader. The BMW motorcycle ABS made it so riders could use their brakes, rather aggressively, in wet or bumpy surfaces. This tech is pretty cool and no doubt saves lives along the way… but it still wasn’t perfect for braking during […]
Gibbs Quad Ski Amphibious ATV
I want! We originally saw the Quad Ski in 2010 but it was still not in production. Looks like things have changed. You can now buy a Gibbs Quad Ski ($40,000) if you have that kind of money to throw around. The Quad Ski will do 45mph on land and/or water. The Quad Ski is […]
The Elephant Steady Is A iPhone Video Stabilizer
Another day, another stabilized video option for your iPhone. There are passive stabilizers that use balanced weighting, 3-axis stabilizers that use brushless motors, and now an iPhone stabilizer that uses the phones gyro to stay level. This stabilizer which currently lives on KickStarter is from a Japanese company, Adplus, and is named the Elephant Steady. […]
Kinsa Smartphone Thermometer
The Kinsa Smartphone Thermometer ($24.99) does what you think it would. It connects to your smartphone, via the headphone jack, and takes temperature readings. The temperature is displayed on the smartphone screen and can be used to track temp/symptom history. The Kinsa Smartphone Thermometer can be used orally, rectally, or via the underarm.
