TappLock Smart Padlock Uses Fingerprint To Unlock
No more keys or codes to remember for your padlock. That is if you have the TappLock (by Pishon Labs). The TappLock (still on Indiegogo) can be opened like your iPhone 6S, with your fingerprint. There will be two versions of the TappLock, a smaller version with a 6-month battery life and a larger version […]

If you have to take a medication at set times you know how such a simple event can become difficult. Did I take my pill today? What time did I take my last pill? Sure, it is a simple problem but it is a real one. This crafty product, the RXTIMERCAP, solves the problem. The […]
Ray Super Remote
After all of these years the household remote control has been far from perfect. Sure there are the Logitech Harmony remotes and a ton of others. They are ok but not great. And now there is another universal remote, the Ray Super Remote ($249). To be honest this could be more of the same as […]

The folks at Work Sharp have teamed up with famous knife maker Ken Onion to make one of the best electric knife sharpeners around. The Awkward Engineer AWK-105 Analog Voltmeter Clock
This might just be the best $140 I have spent this week. At first glance this clock looks like an old piece of test hardware with two analog gauges. Look a bit closer and you will see the left gauge is labeled “hours” and the right gauge “minutes”. While the youngsters among us might not […]
Don’t Complain About Your Commute
Don’t complain about your daily commute. At least not until you have watched this insane traffic jam outside of Beijing, China. First of all, I have never seen a road with hat many lanes of cars. Holy cow. Then in typical road planning madness they have to go through a checkpoint then merge down to […]
Saker S-1 Personal Fighter Jet
If, unlike me, you have $5-million kicking around and want your own personal fighter jet, pay attention. The Saker S-1 is getting closer to launching and expects the first deliveries to hit in 2019. The jet not only looks amazing, but it is fast as well. Users can expect speeds just short of Mach-1 (Mach […]
Ultraskiff 360 Boat
If you are a loner who loves fishing, check out the Ultraskiff. It is one of the strangest shape boats that I have seen. Because, let’s be honest, a round boat isn’t exactly the best shape for ripping through the water. But, technically, that isn’t what the Ultraskiff ($1,595 with free shipping) is about. It […]
Origo Folding Boat
A families passion to design and build a folding boat they could fit in their car for trips to the water has created another Kickstarter campaign. The boat, named Origo, is built by Jure Dolinšek and his two sons Luka and David. The Origo folding boat ($990 – $2,500) goes from a bunch of pieces to a […]
