Mini Cooper JCW Buggy
I am not a fan of the “new” Mini Cooper’s. My experience is that Mini Coopers are happiest when they are at the mechanic getting repaired. However, I do like the rally version that was built by X-raid and JCW (John Cooper Works). This mashup has been in the works for quite some but major […]
Roman Booteen Creates Custom Boobytrapped Coins
Roman Booteen takes existing old coins and adds custom etching and moving parts for some pretty impresive one-off art pieces. This one is better explained with video – check it out after the break.
Tesla Sentry Mode Catches Thief
The recently released, and already updated, Tesla Sentry Mode is a security feature for its EVs that uses the front-facing dash cam and the side cameras to record and dissuade break-ins. Apparently, every car should have a sentry mode as Tesla vehicles have already caught thieves and people damaging cars. The latest story from ABC 7 […]

I probably shouldn’t be eating at McDonald’s in the first place, but on occasion, it hits the spot. With that said, I typically worry about the healthiness and quality of the food. Guess I should be worried about the LCD ordering touchscreens. Yikes. In every McDonald’s tested, these self-ordering LCD screens had fecal bacteria on […]
Tesla Model Y
Last night Tesla unveiled their latest creation – the Tesla Model Y. In what looks like an offspring of the Model 3 and X, the Y is aimed at the mid-sized crossover SUV market. The interior is similar to the Model 3 with clean and elegant lines and few distractions outside of the single 15-inch […]
Coin Purse Skull Thumper
Sure, technically it is a “coin purse” that has a couple of snaps so you can clip it on to your backpack or belt. But the EASYANT Coin Purse ($39) is also a “skull thumper” or self defense weapon similar to the old soap in the sock trick. You get the idea.
VW ID. BUGGY Electric Dune Buggy Concept
Apparently Tesla put the entrenched car makers on notice and they all woke up from a deep slumber. Now, just about every car manufacturer is working on an EV. In Volkswagen’s case they are working on quite a few. Most will be… boring. This one, however, isn’t boring at all and is dubbed the ID. […]
