Ariete Steakhouse Grill – it sure is shiny!

For that metrosexual friend who has everything, Ariete introduces the Steakhouse Grill. Its electric, its chrome, its a conversation piece, and its targeted at people who never grilled in their life (Somebody call Sharper Image). In a catchy yet completely unfounded statement this grill promises to “let you experience the most authentic grilling right in your kitchen”. Its “unique” technology consists of “cooking in vertical position, so the fats and excessive juices drain into the special tray, cooking healthier and tastier foods”… Yeah we get it, stuff drips off and doesn’t burn. Wait, this reminds me of another grill thats being pimped 24/7 on all channels by an ex-boxer-gone-priest, except that one costs a fraction and doesn’t look like it was designed by Liberace. I think I am going to stick with my 22 inch Weber.
