Apple’s Time Capsule Shipping

TimeCapsule

It looks as if Apple will be shipping their new Time Capsule to customers in the next day or two as orders are being moved to the “preparing to ship” phase. Apple hasn’t made any official statements, however customers are noticing credit card charges and order status changes from their Apple store pre-orders.

For the few who don’t know what the Time Capsule is… it is basically a hard drive and Airport combined. They will come in two flavors, 500GB and 1TB, and will feature 802.11n, as well as server grade hard drives. Prices will be $299 for 500GB and $499 for 1TB.

  2. You know why they call it a TimeCapsule? Because its price is old-school high. This costs little over TWICE the market value of its functional components, but hey, it comes with a BEATLES LOGO! Bow down to the Mac you infidels.
