First Ever Shoe With A Built-in Microcomputer

What’s Black and White and looks like two Double Stuff Oreo cookies on your feet? It’s the Adidas Micropacer, Venice Carnival Edition Sneakers. I hate the word “sneakers” – Let’s go with “running shoes”. This edition is a tribute to the festival of masks. OK??? Now here’s the geeky coolness factor – these “running shoes” which came out in 1984, were the first ever shoe with a built-in microcomputer – That’s HOT. They even come with a range finder and pedometer! Would I be caught dead in these “running shoes”…Maybe.

  • Silver version for $139
  • Black version for $250
