US Troops To Receive Handheld Lie Detectors

US troops in Afghanistan will be receiving a new tool this month… a portable lie detector. Is it just me, or do you see quite a few potential flaws with this idea? Here are just a few problems that come to mind;

• Language barrier?
• Polygraph accuracy issues are nothing new, and this is “less accurate than a polygraph”.
• Maybe the 16 year old Afghani kid getting interrogated interviewed might just be a tad bit nervous…. after all the interviewer is toting an automatic machine gun.

Either way, the powers that be have found another way to drive our country deeper in to debt (94 units purchased at $7,500 each = $705,000!)
