Zappos Uses Robots To Pull Orders

Zappos robots

Zappos, the online footwear pusher is speeding things up in the warehouse, while putting people out of work, using robots to pull their orders.  The Kiva Mobile Fulfillment System uses small orange robots to pull each order off of the shelf and deliver it to a human to stuff in a box.  Seems like they need to find a way to eliminate the guy putting the shoes into another box… get more robots.
