(de)light Of Liquid Light

delight art

I know that Art is subjective, but come on! Since when is pouring Glow Stick content into a glass considered art? In a “bold” move “artist” Christina Ferraz Rigo creates a lamp (de)lightthat uses liquid as its source of light… How freakin original! Let me walk you through the steps slowly:

1. Buy Glow Sticks
2. Empty their content into a bottle
3. Now, and this is the tricky part, empty the bottles content into a light bulb…
4. Take photos, and call it something pretentious, like (de)light
5. ?????
6. Profit!

Considering this stuff looks like spunk under a UV light, it would probably be more evocative and artistic to take a UV light into a college dorm after a party and shoot some true “masterpieces”. BTW, Christina is being very secretive about the nature of the material she uses, I hope I didn’t just blow her secret.

  1. I disagree with the author, that IS EVOCATIVE! Reminds me of the two girls and a cup sort of thing.
