I love my Eee PC for simple computing and web browsing while on the go. Good to see the price coming down for the slightly larger 10-inch screen unit, check it out at Costco for only $449.99 – ASUS Eee PC 1000.

Looks like NewEgg dropped their price 100 bucks to match this. I wish they would have gone with 1280×800 graphics since they clearly have the space (see all that plastic around the screen), and given it more than 8MB Video memory (128mb from main). Aside from that its nice, and the price is sure hot.
i dunno, at some point this thing starts gettin too big, like becomin a laptop, and when dat happens u see its too slow and too expensive to compete, i say keep it small keep it real

Wow, I was expecting some lame rebate deal, but thats the actual price! I paid 100 bucks more for the 7 inch EEE PC couple of months ago 🙁
