I am not usually one to get excited about air filters… but that is because most of them tend to suck.   I have tried many brands and types of air filters, including the famous Sharper Image ones (which spew ozone).   Long story short… I always just assumed that they were working… and that the air I was breathing was better.   I was wrong.


For the last year I have been using an IQAir HealthPro Plus (They also have a HealthPro, HealthPro Compact, and GC MultiGas models) and I love it.   It is not quiet… don’t let anyone tell you that it is… it is loud!   Luckily the unit has a timer… and I just have it go to a lower speed setting during the night time.

Without going into the several reasons I like the unit… I will just mention the main point that has changed things for me.  I used to wake up tired and completely congested… every morning.  One week after using the IQAir air filter I haven’t been stuffed up upon waking… unless I am on the road traveling.
