Mitsubishi Electric Car – The i MiEV Sport Air

Mitsubishi i MiEV Sport Air

I have said it before… I will say it again “someday we will all drive electric cars”.  I may be wrong… but I doubt it.  Mitsubishi is hedging their bets with their latest electric car, the i MiEV Sport Air.  The car gets its power from a 63 horsepower electric motor powered by a 330-volt lithium ion battery pack.

The VW Beetle copy cat design should get about 100 miles on a seven hour charge.  Expect to see the Mitsubishi i MiEV Sport Air on the streets sometime in 2010.

  1. There are some things that didn’t irmepss me at all with the Chevy Volt. Mostly, why have the two seats in the back? A bench is much more practical. Also, there is no room at all for anyone one of average size back there without squeezing it from the front. Poor design. Might have well made it a two seater.I’m waiting to see the sedan from Tesla. Cheaper and still amazing range. Should be interesting.
