Google Holodeck HD 360-Degree Street View

Google Street View still manages to amaze me… the idea of mapping the world (?) one street at a time with a camera is a huge undertaking.  Not to mention it really helps to see an area visually on your computer before hopping in the car to actually go there.  I imagine you could even have a ghetto vacation via Google’s Street View… for example take a ghetto trip to Paris here.

Google, in an effort to improve Street View (?), is working on Holodeck that offers near 360-degree HD fast motion experience.
