NYC Tap Water Contains Microscopic Shrimp

NYC Tap Water Shrimp

New York Tap Water comes pre-loaded with tiny crustaceans called copepods, or as I like to call them "mini shrimp".  Yum.  Talk about a deal, you get seafood with every free glass of NYC tap water.

The Copepods are invisible to the human eye but can be seen under a microscope with some H&E Stain.

I recommend getting a good home water filter because this type of thing seriously creeps me out.  Wish I didn't know.
