iRobot 110 FirstLook

iRobot 110 FirstLook

The folks at iRobot, made famous by their Roomba Vacuums, have come out with a new small, light, throwable robot.  The idea behind the iRobot 110 FirstLook is that you can use it to check out an area before sending the humans in.  The 110 FirstLook weighs less than 5 pounds and is 10 inches long, 9 inches wide, and 4 inches tall.  This little surveillance robot is rugged and can take 15-foot drops and can even go underwater (up

to 3-feet).  You wont be breaking any land-speed records at 3.5 mph but that really isn't the point with this gadget.  Four cameras and IR lights send data back to the handheld remote control.
