Asus Padfone – A 10.1-inch Tablet That Needs To Eat A 4.3-inch Smartphone Before It Will Work

The Padfone gadget uses a 4.3-inch smartphone that docks inside a 10.1-inch tablet and has dynamic display switching, two batteries, Qualcomm processor, shared SIM card, a single hard drive, Android’s next generation operating system (Ice Cream Sandwich) all for about $900.  Sounds neat but call me skeptical.  Look for the Asus Padfone at the end of 2011.
