WaterRower Rowing Machine

The holiday season always seems to add a few pounds to my midsection.  Time to get back on the fitness equipment.  I have never been a fan of the treadmill or stair steppers, they feel more like monotonous torture than anything else.  The sit down rowing machines are one of my favorites as they hit so many muscle groups.

The piece of art pictured above is actually a rowing machine that uses a container of water as the flywheel.  The WaterRower Rowing Machine ($900-$2,500) is designed to emulate the dynamics of a boat moving through the water with their WaterFlywheel.  Video of the WaterRower in action after the break.
