As if Netflix hasn't had it rough enough over the last several months, it now has a new competitor.  Verizon and Coinstar (the company behind Redbox) are teaming up to offer a hybrid service.  This new service, name not mentioned yet, will have the convenience of Redbox for Disc rentals with the streaming and download service from Verizon.

Expect to see Netflix's new enemy in the second half of this year.
