The Strida Folding Bike ($499) doesn't take an engineering degree to fold up.  In fact, it only takes 10-seconds to be folded up, or opened up for that matter.  In addition, when the Strida bike is folded up you can roll it around like luggage as opposed to carrying it.  The Strida is made mostly of aluminum and weighs just 20 pounds.
