Volta Volaré’s GT4 E-Hybrid Airplane Taking Orders

Volta Volaré has begun taking folks money orders for their four-seater GT4 hybrid airplane which they believe is the "most technologically advanced private aircraft available anywhere on Earth.”  The GT4 E-Hybrid airplane can take off, fly, and land on electric power only.  When the battery level drops below 25 percent a gas engine will start up to recharge the airplane.

The Volta Volaré GT4 will cost $495,000. There are eleven remaining for purchase this year, with another 36 for 2013.
