Wakeboarding Without A Boat = JetSurf Board

JetSurf Board

Wakeboarding is one of my favorite things to do when the weather is nice.  The only downside to wakeboarding is the amount of work it takes.  You have to put the Prius away, grab the truck, pick up the boat, tow it to the lake, launch it, etc,  Not to mention you need extra people to drive and hold the flag.  You get the idea.

This cool gasoline powered wakeboard, the JetSurf, is powered by a 100cc two-stroke engine.  This allows the rider to push this 33-lb board at speeds up to 35 mph.  The fuel tank is just 2.5-liters which means you will get about an hour of ride time before having to hunt for more gas.

Now for the bad news.  The JetSurf powered wakeboard will set you back over $15,000.  Towing the boat doesn't sound so bad all of a sudden.

  1. Please forward details where a motorized jetsurf wakeboard can be purchased, also price. My location is Bribie Island, Queensland, Australia

  2. Definitely cool…but not $15,000 cool. If I spend that kind of money I’m buying something bigger and faster

  3. Way cool but for 15000.00 I’d get a boat instead. There has to be a way to make it more affordable!

  4. If I’m going to dump $15k on a toy, it will be on a boat NOT a wake board with a moped engine!
